Video games and spiritual warfare

Although here are probably Christian video games, the industry is fraught with an anti-God/anti-Christ narrative

Parallels and similarities

Good and evil/bad

Fighting

Winning and losing

Strategy

Weapons

Hidden treasure/traps

Life and death

Human/natural power

Resurrection power

Supernatural power

Cost for increased ability

Investment of time to succeed

Distractions/temptations

Programming by an unknown designer

Language/words

Music

Demons

Social network

Community

Superheroes/Heroes

Affronts to Christianity

Free-will choice for exposure to temptation/demonic

Absence of holiness

Religious icons/idolatry

Glorification of lusts

Glorification of human

Language

No sanctity of life

Alignment/partnering with the demonic

Investment of time/resources into unreality

Disconnection from reality

The idea that winning is the reward of a game

Christ is the only Superhero and all heroes have Christ in them

Pros

I am not sure that there really are any........

However, I am sure some would say that is is a form of recreation/play and quite harmless.
